Student Senate Speech Night
Mon., March 27
On Monday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. in Honsey Hall 314 you will have the opportunity to hear from the candidates running for the 2017-2018 Student Senate. Come hear what your future representatives have to say so you are able to make an informed vote.
National Nuclear Security
Mon., March 27
Monday, March 27th at 7pm in MH130, Dr. Aaron Luttman (former Math Professor at Bethany) will present on his current employment at the Nevada National Security Site. He will discuss the latest scientific developments that support U.S. nuclear security and some of the national policies that drive the science. Learn how new graduates in STEM fields can get involved in this research through internships and support for graduate studies.
Bethany Ladies College

Did you know that Bethany started as a Ladies College? A new century, new technologies, and new opportunities for education together with a pastor with big dreams created a school like few others in American Lutheranism. Bethany Ladies College may have been short-lived but it became the starting point for what we now know as Bethany Lutheran College. Learn about the often forgotten beginnings of higher education in the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Becky DeGarmeaux will give a presentation on Tuesday, March 28th at 7PM in Meyer Hall 101. This year, the Student Senate elections will be held electronically. Watch your email for more information. Voting will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, March 29th and 30th.
Relay for Life of BLC
Fri., April 7
Join Colleges Against Cancer for Bethany’s annual Relay for Life on Friday, April 7th from 6PM-12AM in the Sports and Fitness Center. The night will include games, prizes, food, and fun! Writing CenterThe Ada Stokes Writing Center, located in HH 217, is open Monday 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Tutors provide help in the areas of essay writing, creative writing, resumes, cover letters, graduate applications, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but priority is given to individuals with an appointment. To make an appointment, go to MyBLC and search for "Writing Center Appointment Form. Come see us!
