Personal Assessment

Every job demands some skills. Skills you can use in a variety of jobs (or most jobs!) are called functional or transferable. Because you usually do well in activities you enjoy and often return to those tasks, these often become your functional or transferable job skills.

In continuing to assess the important who am I and what am I questions relating to occupational choice, consider how you get along with others. The personal qualities you use in your occupation are called adaptive skills.
