Paws for a Study Break!
Tue., November 20
Come de-stress before leaving on break! Therapy dogs will be on campus in Old Main on Tuesday, November 20th from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Come pet and play with these furry friends outside of the cafeteria doors. See you all on Tuesday!
Women's Basketball

The BLC women's basketball team hosts St. Catherine University on Tuesday, November 20th at 7 PM. GO VIKINGS!
Sharing Tree
Fri., November 16
Sharing Trees are in front of the entrance by the cafeteria. Please pick up a card to purchase a gift for someone that is need of a Christmas gift this season. Please wrap the gift w/card enclosed and return it to Audrey's desk NO LATER than December 11th.
Bike Storage
Wed., November 21
All bikes on campus need to be stored either in your room or in the Gullixson Hall storage area. Storage is necessary for snow removal, plus it protects your bike from the elements and prevents theft. You can bring your bike to GH during visitation hours while the RAs are at the desk or contact Colin Anderson, GH Coor., at canderson@blc.edu to set up a time. Bikes must be stored by the start of Thanksgiving Break, Wed, Nov 21.
ARC Hours November 19-21On Monday, November 19, the ARC will be closed from 8am thru 5pm to accommodate the Education Program site visit. This includes all classes and test proctoring. The ARC will be open at its regular time of 7-10 pm on the 19th. The ARC will close for the Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, November 21 at 12 pm and will open on Monday, November 26th at 10:30 am.
Upcoming BreaksStudents are encouraged to go home for Thanksgiving and possibly take with them a friend who isn't able to get home. The Res Halls will be open for students who cannot leave campus. Lunch on Wed 11/21 will be the last meal until dinner on Sunday 11/25. There will be visitation hours until 11pm each night: 5-11pm on Wednesday 11/21 and noon-11pm Thursday-Sunday 11/22-25. The Res Halls CLOSE over Christmas Break except for international students, students in apartments, and students in Bethany-sponsored activities.
Student Employment ChecksStudent employment checks can be picked up at the Business Office window from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please bring your Bethany ID with you.
In Need of Academic Tutoring?If you would like to receive tutoring in academic coursework you can apply for free tutoring services through the Academic Resource Center. In MyBLC go to Academic Resources and complete the Tutoring Request Form. Once a tutor is located, Academic Resources will contact you with a potential tutoring schedule. Tutoring for writing should be arranged through the Ada Stokes Writing Center.
Ottesen MuseumDid you know that Bethany was founded as a Ladies’ College over 100 years ago? Find out more at the ELS Ottesen Museum on Browns Court across from the softball field.
