Bethany Lutheran College is participating in Minnesota’s “Give to the Max Day” on Wednesday, November 16. This is Bethany’s first time participating in the annual event. GiveMN created “Give to the Max Day” with hopes of raising as much money as possible for Minnesota nonprofit organizations during a twenty-four hour period. GiveMN has helped raise more than $33,000,000 for more than 5,000 nonprofits since its 2009 debut.
Bethany is fortunate to have an anonymous donor who has generously offered a dollar-for-dollar match on any donation made to Bethany during the event. The match will be capped at $10,000.
In addition, some donors will receive donation grants of $1,000 to $10,000 that can be directed to their favorite charity. These grants, funded by the Minnesota Community Foundation, will be awarded randomly through participation in the event. There will be 24 “Golden Ticket” grants worth $1000 given randomly every hour and one $10,000 “Grand Golden Ticket” will be randomly given at 11:59 p.m.
All money raised through Bethany’s participation will be directed to the Bethany Fund, which supports the ongoing daily operations of the College. We hope you will take part in Minnesota’s “Give to the Max Day” beginning at midnight on Wednesday, November 16. The event concludes 24 hours later.
