Volunteer Opportunity for Dog and Cat Lovers The Watonwan County Humane Society can use your help. They need volunteers to handle dogs during our pet adoptions Saturdays to loving families. Watonwan Humane Society conducts pet adoptions two Saturdays per month at Pet Expo located behind Cub Foods on Madison Avenue. If you need a break from your busy study time and you are interested in volunteering three hours every other Saturday afternoon to handle a loving pet, then please give Cheryl a call at 507-317-3797 for more information.
Seminary Night Men if you would like to have more information about the pastoral ministry come to Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary on Sunday night, October 11, 5:30–7:00. Corn Maze at Farmamerica Come, if you dare, to the Haunted Corn Maze at Farmamerica! Expanded activities this year include bonfire and music. Vans leave from the Glass Staircase at 6pm (with option of returning at 8:30pm) and 8pm (returning at 10pm) on Friday, October 23. Cost is $5. Proposed BSN Program Information Session Are you thinking about majoring in nursing? Do you want more information about the proposed nursing program in development? Sara Traylor, the director of the nursing program, will hold informational sessions on Advising Day-October 28. Sessions will be at 8:45-9:45 am and 1:15-2:15 pm in Meyer Hall Room 301 with a short presentation and time for Q & A. Sessions are directed towards students but faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Bring your curiosity and questions!
