Bethany Lutheran College, a Christian, coeducational, residential liberal arts college owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month faculty position in Nursing beginning August 1, 2014. Currently the College does not offer a degree in nursing, but our hope is to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree as soon as is possible starting with the development of the nursing curriculum. To that end the College seeks a candidate who will:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain an accredited and board certified BSN program at Bethany Lutheran College
Teach nursing courses as needed
Identify and recruit qualified faculty to teach in the Nursing program
MSN required, doctorate in nursing preferred
If candidate is Master’s prepared, they must be certified in one of the advanced nursing roles: clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse anesthetist, or nurse practitioner
Experience in nursing education
Licensed to practice nursing in Minnesota or willing to obtain such license
Salary is commensurate with experience and background; comprehensive benefit program
