MLK Day of Service at Bethany

Monday, January 15, 2018 - 1:00pm
Make the Martin Luther King holiday a day of service for your community.  The Center for Intercultural Development and Resources (C.I.D.R.) and The Paul Ylvisaker Center for Public and Personal Responsibility are co-sponsoring opportunities to serve others in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of service to others.  You can participate in one of two ways:
- Option #1: Contact local organizations, churches, nursing homes, and schools to see how you can help them on MLK Day.  Find a local organization here:
- Option #2: Meet in the Viking Village between 1:00-3:00 P.M. to spend time writing cards to military personnel, kids in the hospital, and residents of local nursing homes.
STUDENTS: Let Courtney Agenten know how you served that day to be entered to win a $10 Caribou Coffee Gift Card supplied by The Paul Ylvisaker Center.  There are 10 chances to win!  Email your name, service project, and hours served to  Bethany will announce how all the students volunteered and their service hours.
