Cyber Relational Agression

Monday, February 5, 2018 - 6:00pm
Honsey Hall 215

Relational aggression is defined as harming others through purposeful manipulation and damage of their peer relationships.  Types of relational aggression include:

  • Cyber bullying
  • Verbal aggression
  • Physical aggression

Relational aggression extends beyond the playground or cafeteria in middle and high school.  In fact, college campus environments are a major setting for episodes of relational aggression that often result in low self-esteem, depression or anxiety, or suicidal thoughts or attempts.  This presentation will delve deeper into relational aggression and will focus specifically on the effects of relational aggression on college students and young adults

Dr. Laura Riness from Christian Family Solutions will be presenting.
