*Maximum of 25 students per session

Parents and family are invited to view artwork on Friday when they come to pick up their child. 


$100 per student/per session which includes:

  • Official camp t-shirt
  • Excellent instruction from practicing artists
  • All materials for activities

Same activities are covered in both sessions, no discount for attending both sessions.

Camp Director

Eric Ouren is an Associate Professor of Studio Art at Bethany Lutheran College. He teaches sculpture, ceramics, art history and the foundations courses, 2D and 3D Design. He also teaches the senior capstone class and senior studio art exhibition. Professor Ouren received his BFA from the University of Minnesota in 1990 and his MFA from the University of Iowa in 1998. He taught as adjunct faculty at Bethel University, Minnesota State University, and the University of Minnesota before becoming a faculty member at Bethany Lutheran College in 2000. His work includes wood and ceramic sculpture, collage and stringed folk instruments; focusing on building open-back banjos

Assistant Camp Director

Malia Wiley is a freelance artist who has produced over a hundred custom paintings for people, featuring their children, pets, homes, farm animals, landscapes, and memories. Wiley received her BA in Studio Art from Bethany Lutheran College in 2008. She just recently finished a large mural at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota in Mankato.
