Wind Band Concert
Sun., April 2
Sunday, April 2 at 3 pm in Trinity Chapel - The Minnesota River Valley Wind Ensemble, a semi-professional group comprised of music educators, community members, music students and professional musicians, performs a spring concert in Trinity Chapel. MRVWE is directed by Dr. Amy K. Roisum Foley. This concert is free and open to the public.

First HOME Baseball GamesWeather pending, the Bethany Lutheran baseball team will begin the home portion of their schedule on Friday, March 31st at 1:30 p.m. against Crown College. Come out to the BLC Baseball Field and support the 2017 baseball team.

Camp Counselors Needed

Camp Indianhead MN, held at Lutheran Island Camp near Alexandria, MN, is now accepting applicants for counselors for this summer, July 9-14. Chinese culture study tour

Would you like to go to China? Join Dr. Wosmek for an informational meeting about the Chinese Culture study tour happening in Spring 2018 over spring break. The meeting includes an overview of the course and tour, cost and fundraising opportunities. You don't need to know anything about Chinese culture before hand. We will teach you everything you need to know to maximize your experience in China. We will challenge you to truly experience Chinese culture while making memories and friendships to last a lifetime. Monday, April 3 at 7 pm in Trinity Chapel - Organ student Timothy Krause performs works by J.S. Bach, Buxtehude, Medelssohn and Handel in his senior organ recital. The recital is free and open to the public, with a reception to follow in the YFAC.
IM Indoor Soccer Sign-Ups

Sign-ups are open for co-rec intramural indoor soccer. Games will be held M-Th & Sun. Potential game times are 6-10pm M-Th and 2-10pm on Sun depending on the no. of teams & gym availability. Be sure to refer to the eligibility & roster portions of the rules when forming teams. Check your email or pick up rules, registration, and liability & emergency info forms on the IM wall in the SFC. Midlife Crisis in Concert

Some of your favorite personalities on campus come together in Midlife Crisis to revive some of the best rock-and-roll anthems and classic rock ballads of all time! Tuesday, April 4 in the Viking Village, Professors Bukowski, Ouren, and Overn along with Chaplain Moldstad and Steve Jaeger will be spotlighting BLC's own outstanding talent, Adrian Lo. Don't miss the opening set by BLC Jazz Band at 8pm followed by Midlife Crisis at 8:30pm. Free 1919 rootbeer.

Relay for Life of BLC

Join Colleges Against Cancer for Bethany’s annual Relay for Life on Friday, April 7th from 6PM-12AM in the Sports and Fitness Center. The night will include games, prizes, food, and fun! CPR Night

Bethany Organization of Student Scientists (BOSS) is sponsoring an American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers class. The class is on Monday April 10 at 6 pm in Meyer Hall room 130. The class is free to students; however, there is a $20 fee to receive the certification card. The certification card is required for the nursing program. All interested students are welcome. Writing CenterThe Ada Stokes Writing Center, located in HH 217, is open Monday 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Tutors provide help in the areas of essay writing, creative writing, resumes, cover letters, graduate applications, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but priority is given to individuals with an appointment. To make an appointment, go to MyBLC and search for "Writing Center Appointment Form. Come see us!
