Dan Gerdts

Admissions Counselor

I am extremely blessed to be part of the Bethany community and am very thankful for the opportunity to serve our Lord in this capacity. Having worked with students after receiving my education degree in 2005, I love meeting with them and advising in their decision-making processes. I hope to get students and parents really fired up about Bethany. I look forward to learning new things and meeting many new people along the way.

My areas:
Southern Minnesota, Lutheran schools in Illinois and Michigan and southern Central time zone.

Dan Tomhave

Director of Admissions

It’s great to be part of the Bethany community. I’ve been working in college admissions for over seventeen years and I am excited to help Bethany students with the realization of their dreams and assist them with career decisions. College is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting times of your life! The BLC Admissions staff and I are eager to assist you in any way possible. You’ll find that Bethany is truly unique among colleges. It extends to students both a Christ-centered environment and an academically challenging atmosphere—all on an individual level that very few colleges can offer. Please take some time to visit this wonderful campus. I look forward to helping you with your college decisions in any way I can..

Estelle Vlieger

Assistant Director of Admissions

As an alum, I have been blessed over the last 10 years to work in the Admissions office and share my love of Bethany with students and families. I love working with students to determine if BLC is the place for them to continue their education and plan for their future. Bethany provides a unique environment where students can grow academically, spiritually and physically as they prepare for the “real world”. As I tell my students in FRSM 101-I initially came to Bethany planning to stay 2 years, liked it so I stayed for 4, loved it so much I’ve been on campus for 14 years. I hope I can tell you about Bethany and show you around campus soon!

My areas:

Twin Cities metro area, North and South Dakota, Nebraska and the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones.
