 * Prelude

 * Hymn, 191, vv. 1-3, Hark! The Voice of Jesus Crying

 * Reading: Isaiah 55:1-3

 * Devotion: “The Food that Satisfies”

 * Prayer

 * Closing Hymn verses:

 4) Let none hear you idly saying, “There is nothing I can do,”

 While the multitudes are dying, And the master calls for you.

 Take the task he gives you gladly; Let His work your pleasure be.

 Answer quickly when He calleth, “Here am I, send me, send me!”

 5) Hearken to the Savior’s promise: “To the end I am with you,

 I will send the Holy Spirit   Helper Sweet in all you do.

 He will call, and He will gather,  By the Word and Sacrament.”

 Sins forgiven, Heaven’s comfort,  In this power we are sent.

 (v. 5, D. Marzolf)

 * Postlude

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.”
