 * Prayer

* Closing Hymn verses:

4) Let none hear you idly saying, “There is nothing I can do,”

While the multitudes are dying, And the master calls for you.

Take the task he gives you gladly; Let His work your pleasure be.

Answer quickly when He calleth, “Here am I, send me, send me!”

5) Hearken to the Savior’s promise: “To the end I am with you,

I will send the Holy Spirit   Helper Sweet in all you do.

He will call, and He will gather,  By the Word and Sacrament.”

Sins forgiven, Heaven’s comfort,  In this power we are sent.

v. 5, D. Marzolf

2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
