Come See What Bethany is All About!

Bethany is excited to host your group, no matter the size, 2 – 200! Whether you are looking for just a one-hour tour or an all-day event, we can provide a great experience for you. Please check availability by emailing admissions@blc.edu or calling 507-344-7331 at least one week in advance of your visit. Here are typical schedules based on the interest of recent groups on campus:

Option 1

Quick College Readiness

  • 9 a.m. – Tour of Campus
  • 10 a.m. – Chapel
  • 10:20 – 10:30 a.m. – The College Decision Making Process with Admissions

Or

  • 9 a.m. – Tour of Campus
  • 9:50 – 10 a.m. – The College Decision Making Process with Admissions

Option 2

College Readiness Deep Dive

  • 9 a.m. – Tour of Campus
  • 10 a.m. – Chapel
  • 10:20 a.m. – Student or Faculty Panel – Preparing for College
  • 10:50 – 11:15 a.m. – Academic, Character, Collegiate, Career and Financial Planning Discussion with Admissions.

Or

  • 12:30 p.m. – Tour of Campus
  • 1:20 p.m. – Student or Faculty Panel – Preparing for College
  • 1:50 – 2:20 p.m. – Academic, Character, Collegiate, Career and Financial Planning Discussion with Admissions.

Option 3

Large Group Collegiate Experiential Learning

Bethany can often accommodate large groups and provide classroom presentations in diverse fields of interest. Email admissions@blc.edu for more details.

Overnight Visits at Bethany

Groups seeking an in-depth visit to the campus may request an overnight experience. Visiting students will be hosted in the residence halls by current students, or a group room may be arranged. An overnight visit may include:

Arrival Night:

  • 6 p.m. – Supper in Dining Center with your hosts (families and chaperones are welcome)
  • 7:00 p.m. – Settle into the Residence Hall with your Host
  • 7:30 p.m. – Attend Theatre or Athletic Event (when available) or free time with hosts to explore campus
  • 9 p.m. – Viking Village Foosball, Air Hockey and Gaming or Nooks and Crannies Tour
  • Midnight  – Lights Out

Departure Day:

  • 7:45 a.m. – Wake Up and Pack
  • 8:15 a.m. – Breakfast
  • 8:45 a.m – Tour of Campus
  • 10 a.m. – Chapel
  • 10:30 a.m. – Attend Class, Your Choice
  • 11:30 a.m. – Meet with Professor/Coach/Director
  • 12 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1 p.m. – Gather Belongings and Farewell
