Justin Jones-Fosu leads you on the journey of Finding Your Glasses! Students will uncover the core values that provide a foundation to achieve their vision. Justin’s Clarifying Cycle of Success™ model, paired with the 6 Basic Lenses of Success™, will prepare students for successfully accomplishing their academic, career and life visions..
|Negro Spirituals / Ella Sheppard

Ella Sheppard was a former slave and a founding member of the Fisk University Jubilee singers, the first group to sing publicly the songs of their ancestors: Negro Spirituals. Ella Sheppard traveled with the Jubilee Singers for eleven years as a soprano, piano accompanist and Assistant Director. She was admired for her musical talent, her quiet, and her confident style of leadership. (Performance and portrayal by Joanna Maddox)
|The Deaf Duckling

This unique performance cleverly intertwines a familiar fairy tale with the story of a deaf child born into a hearing family. The program offers a warm and insightful look at how one family is able to bridge deaf and hearing cultures, and will be performed simultaneously in English and inAmerican Sign Language.
