The B-Town Drumline was founded by a student, run by students, funded by students, and directed by students. It is a drum corps sponsored by the Music Department but has a membership and scope that encompasses the whole campus. B-Town does half-time shows and special appearances (e.g. Fall Festival, Luthapalooza, Midnight Madness). Most of all, it is an energy-packed ensemble made up of students who love to DRUM!

The Bethany Dance Team has been an organization at Bethany Lutheran College since the fall of 2008. They are not a competitive team, but perform halftime entertainment at home basketball games. The dance team focuses mostly on hip-hop dancing, but also performs jazz routines. As a club they team are involved in the community, and fundraise to pay for their costumes and any props or accessories needed.

PAMA is structured to encourage students in Promoting Awareness, spurring Motivations, and encouraging Action in pertinent campus and personal concerts. The group is committed to promoting healthy, productive lifestyles, in addition to recognizing and confronting issues facing our campus and to be of service to Bethany students.

Photojournalism students meet as a class every week to learn about techniques used by professional photojournalists and to receive assignments. Photographers are given assignments for the student publications, as well as the BLC website. It is a great chance for students to break out of their shell by meeting new people, going to new events and seeing their work published.

The Royal Society of Bethany Scientists is the science club on the Bethany campus. Members are typically majoring in mathematics, chemistry, or biology though we have had other interested students join us. The group organizes science-related event including fieldtrips and guest speakers. Past speakers have talked to students about graduate studies, medical school, and undergraduate research opportunities.

The Bethany Lutheran College Scholastic Leadership Society exists to recognize academic achievement, leadership, and citizenship among students at Bethany Lutheran College; to promote student leadership experiences; and to sponsor community learning activities in order to expand educational opportunities beyond the classroom.

Members of the Sport Marketing Club plan, organize, and run events for the students at BLC. The Sport Marketing Club pulls together creative ideas to get fans to the games and then help provide entertainment at the Varsity sporting events. This club also organizes unique sport events such as the Super Sport Sunday: where students participate in Dodge Ball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Kick Ball. The Sport Marketing Club is a great group to work with and help one network within the community. If you like sports you will love this club.

Scroll students meet as a class every week to learn the processes undergone in a campus newspaper. Each week writers learn new journalism techniques and are given new stories. Every other week layout staff members meet to pull the newspaper together for publication. It is a great chance for students to learn about journalism, to understand what it is like to work in a newspaper environment, meet new people as well as produce a body of work that will help get a job in any field after graduation.

Fidelis students meet as a class every week to learn the process of producing a yearbook. As the historical publication on campus, the work done by these students is viewed years down the road. Staff members are in charge of both writing stories and putting the work together on the pages sent to press. Being a part of the Fidelis is a great chance for students to learn about journalism, meet new people and also produce a body of work that will help them get a job in any field after graduation.
Student Senate
The purpose of the Student Senate is to represent the students in all matters of concern to the student body and to serve as a liaison between the students, faculty, staff and administration. It is actively involved in sponsoring a variety of social activities and convocations. Elections to the Student Senate take place every fall and spring.
