The Scroll

Advisor: Denice Woller
Scroll students meet as a class every week to learn the processes undergone in a campus newspaper. Each week writers learn new journalism techniques and are given new stories. Every other week layout staff members meet to pull the newspaper together for publication. It is a great chance for students to learn about journalism, to understand what it is like to work in a newspaper environment, meet new people as well as produce a body of work that could help get a job in any field after graduation. Yearbook

Advisor: Denice Woller
Fidelis students meet as a class every week to learn the process of producing a yearbook. As the historical publication on campus, the work done by these students is viewed years down the road. Staff members are in charge of both writing stories and putting the work together on the pages sent to press. Being a part of the Fidelis is a great chance for students to learn about journalism, meet new people and also produce a body of work that could help them get a job in any field after graduation.

Photojournalism

Advisor: Denice Woller
Photojournalism students meet as a class every week to learn about techniques used by professional photojournalists and to receive assignments. Photographers are given assignments for the student publications, as well as the BLC website. It is a great chance for students to break out of their shell by meeting new people, going to new events and seeing their work published.
