Bethany debaters began the year off with a powerful start. Four students represented Bethany in the first tournament of the tenth season of the Parliamentary League of the Upper Midwest. The team of Jessica Gehrke and Lisa Buchs and the team of Nina Maksymenko and Jesse DeDeyne both received Silver awards. Overall there were 16 teams from four different schools present. Teams from the University of Minnesota and Gustavus Adolphus College took Gold awards. |
