Valentines for sale this week! Purchase a Valentine's Day card and candy for that special someone. The Psych Club will be selling Valentine's Day cards and candy Wednesday through Friday (Feb. 10-12) in Old Main from 11:30-1:00. The cost is $.50 for 1 or 5 for $2.00. All proceeds will be donated to CADA. Valentine's Day cards will be delivered to the mailboxes on Friday. Spread some Valentine's Day cheer and support a good cause!

Men's and Women's Tennis Another busy weekend for Bethany tennis. The men's team will play UW-Eau Claire on Friday night at Gustavus. On Saturday, the men's team will play Hamline at 2 p.m. in White Bear Lake. The women's team will play Hamline on Saturday at 2 p.m. followed by a match against Mount Marty at 6:30 p.m. Go Vikings
Indoor Track and Field The men's and women's indoor track and field team will compete at Carleton College on Saturday, February 13th. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Go Vikings!
Basketball on the Road The Bethany basketball teams will travel to North Central on Friday night and Northwestern on Saturday afternoon for two Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Games. Check out for game times and live stat links. Go Vikings!
Riddle Contest! Write a riddle, and drop it off at the Inkwell lunch table outside of the cafeteria on Wednesday, February 17th from 11:30 to 1:30, or Thursday, February 18th, from 11:30 to 1:00. We'll have cookies for people who submit riddles!
Summer Mission Opportunities There are several opportunities for mission work on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation (Arizona) this summer. These include teaching guitar and piano, assisting with Sunday School program development, working with substance abuse recovery programs, and construction projects. These opportunities are sponsored by Kingdom Workers. Contact Matt Behmer to learn more.

CIDR Poetry Slam The Center for Intercultural Development and Resources (C.I.D.R.) invites you to be part of our Poetry Slam, which is Thursday, February 25th in The Lab, starting at 8:15 P.M. To participate, go to CIDR's Facebook page, choose one of the quotes that CIDR has posted in the month of February, and write a poem, using that quote as inspiration. Submit your poem (along with the quote you used to inspire your poem) to Jonathan Stadler ( by Monday, February 22nd (11:59 P.M.).
Writing Contest! Students: Inkwell is hosting a writing contest! Submit up to three of your stories, 800 words or under, to through February 22nd. In addition to being published in the Spring issue of Inkwell, winners will receive a Barnes and Noble gift card.
X-Terrain Club Ski Event The X-Terrain Outdoor club invites the BLC campus to go skiing at Mt.Kato on February 26th. Cost is $13 for lift and $12 for rental IF you bring 5 items for the food shelf.
