Apple Orchard and Candy Barn Excursion Pick fresh apples at the Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard then explore Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store (the Big Yellow Barn on 169)! No cost for transportation or admission but bring spending money (cash/check only at Yellow Barn) if you want to buy apples or anything from the candy store. Vans leave from the Glass Staircase on Sunday October 4 at 1:30pm and will return in time for dinner. YOU MUST SIGN UP AT THE BUSINESS OFFICE even if you don't intend to ride the vans.
Engineering Night! The Math-Science Division is hosting an engineering information night on Monday, October 5, at 7pm in MH 101. A panel discussion will feature current and future engineers. Following the panel, there will be time for individual conversation and pizza. Learn about engineering and how Bethany's Engineering Dual-Degree Program Physical Science Major in conjunction with the University of Minnesota can work for you.
Peter Ostroushko - Concert Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. in Trinity Chapel - Guest Artist and folk music legend Peter Ostroushko performs in Trinity Chapel, accompanied by the Bethany String Band. This concert is FREE for BLC students/faculty/staff. TIcketed event for the public, $10/$6.

Volunteer Opportunity for Dog and Cat Lovers The Watonwan County Humane Society can use your help. They need volunteers to handle dogs during our pet adoptions Saturdays to loving families. Watonwan Humane Society conducts pet adoptions two Saturdays per month at Pet Expo located behind Cub Foods on Madison Avenue. If you need a break from your busy study time and you are interested in volunteering three hours every other Saturday afternoon to handle a loving pet, then please give Cheryl a call at 507-317-3797 for more information.
