Bethany Varsity Tennis Meeting Any students interested in playing on the Bethany varsity tennis team this year should attend the pre-season meeting on Wednesday, August 31, at 7 p.m. in Sports and Fitness Center classroom 210. If you have any questions, please contact the Bethany athletic department.
Required On-Line Training for all students - Title IX In the interest of student safety and to comply with MN State and Federal laws, all college students are required to received specific safety training about sexual misconduct and alcohol awareness. Bethany provides this training through on on-line program. See your email for specific instructions, and complete the training today.
IM Sand Volleyball Sign-Ups Sign-ups are open for IM sand volleyball. Games will be held Mon-Th & Sun evenings. Potential game times are 4-8pm weeknights & 2-8pm Sun's depending on the number of teams and team availability. Be sure to refer to the eligibility & roster portions of the rules when forming teams. Check your email or pick up rules, registration, liability, & emergency info forms on the IM wall in the SFC. Return completed forms to the same area. Sign-ups close Fri 9/2 & games begin Wed 9/7. Bethany Business Club Bethany Business Club will have it's opening event on Wednesday, August 31 from 5pm to 8 over at Alexander (Hilltop) park. We will have a cookout and play some kickball and Chicago style mush softball. Open to prospective and declared business majors but feel free to bring a long a friend.
X-Terrain Outdoor Club Informational Meeting Do you like to go outside? Do you want to meet new friends? Do you like having fun? Then you should join the X-terrain club! The X-terrain club is low commitment but offers tons of activities such as: tie dying, hiking, pumpkin carving, skiing, sledding, swimming, star gazing... plus any of your ideas! There will be an informational meeting Wednesday August 31st at 8:00 on the 3rd floor of Luther hall. Please bring your planner and your ideas! BLC Viking 5k Run/Walk Bethany Lutheran College will be hosting a 5k run/walk during family weekend on Saturday, September 17th! Race starts at 9am and check-in will be anytime between 7:30-8:30am, at the Sports and Fitness Center. Free t-shirt for all who Register! Practices are Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:30-4:00. We have two Saturday tournaments, dates TBA. Regular season games are mainly on Tuesdays or Fridays.
