Carleton College's Forensics Society fosters growth not only for incoming debaters but also those who are new to debate.  We practice not only on learning the format of how a debate is run, but also on the persuasive aspect of how a debate is held on the outside world.  Carleton's Parliamentary Debate Team was brought back to Carleton in the Fall of 2005 by the then President, Jeremy Lyon.  Currently we have done well as a reborn group, attending Nationals for the last 2 years we have been active, and looking to go again this coming season.
