Bethany Lutheran College, a Christian, coeducational, residential liberal arts college owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month faculty position in Nursing beginning August 1, 2014. Currently the College does not offer a degree in nursing, but our hope is to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree as soon as is possible starting with the development of the nursing curriculum. To that end the College seeks a candidate who will:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain an accredited and board certified BSN program at Bethany Lutheran College
- Teach nursing courses as needed
- Identify and recruit qualified faculty to teach in the Nursing program
- MSN required, doctorate in nursing preferred
- If candidate is Master’s prepared, they must be certified in one of the advanced nursing roles: clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse anesthetist, or nurse practitioner
- Experience in nursing education
- Licensed to practice nursing in Minnesota or willing to obtain such license
Salary is commensurate with experience and background; comprehensive benefit program
