"Hay Fever"
by Noel Coward, directed by Peter Bloedel. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French.

Peter Bloedel directs this Noel Coward comedy presented by the Bethany Theatre Department. "Hay Fever" is a 20th century British comedy of wit and manners. The play takes place in the 1920s, in the home of the Bliss family. The eccentricities of the Blisses are unnervingly unleashed on an unsuspecting set of houseguests who are thrown in and out of melodramatic situations as their hosts ride the line between reality and fiction. The ensuing scenarios create a blend of raucous and smart comedic chaos. The net result is a lively, very funny and entertaining play.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students (K-college) and seniors (55+) and are available at the door or in advance by contacting the Box Office. The Bethany Box Office will be open from October 29 to November 16, Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m. The number is 1-800-944-3066 ext 374 (locally 344-7374).
