About Bethany's bands

Many student instrumentalists at Bethany take the opportunity to hone their skills by participating in one of several performing groups. For individual advancement, private lessons are readily available for most instruments.

There are three major bands on campus. Concert Band, the largest, performs on campus and throughout the country. Students may also participate in the Jazz Ensemble which also has regular rehearsals and performances. This is an increasingly active and popular ensemble that also tours frequently. The Pep Band is an organization both made and led by student volunteers. The group supports Bethany's athletes with their love of music, sports, and school spirit.

In addition to regularly-meeting bands, various chamber ensembles for woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion, and mixed groups have formed for special events or activites.
