Bethany Lutheran College alumni Greg Vandermause and Michael Leyrer showcase what it’s like to work at the world’s largest sports media company, ESPN.

The opportunities presented by ESPN have provided invaluable experience in the world of broadcasting. Please join them as they discuss their experience of ESPN and also speak on what you can do to build your professional network in the industry.

Greg Vandermause

Greg has ten years experience in the broadcast industry. He has worked at local networks affiliates and most recently in Bristol, Connecticut, at ESPN. Greg received his undergraduate degree from Bethany Lutheran College in 2006.

He is currently the Producation Studio Manger at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota.

Michael Leyrer

Michael has been in the broadcast industry for nine years. Staring out working with Charter as they broadcasted Division I hockey, he moved on to a CBS affiliate and then to ESPN. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Bethany Lutheran College in 2008.

He is currently at Motion Graphics Controller at ESPN working 
in Bristol, Connecticut.
