'Tobacco on campus, in the community and beyond'

Wednesday, November 6, 2013 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Honsey Hall Room 314

It's not just about the possibility of living in a 'smoke-free' environment. Our speaker, Erin Simmons, from the American Lung Association, will elaborate on this issue in a local and global view. Tobacco industries are marketing in 3rd world countries, and unprotected child laborers are often poisoned by the chemicals used in tobacco fields while harvesting the leaves. Erin is passionate to create awareness, and is an excellent spokesperson for the ALA. Get involved. Be informed. Join us on Wednesday, November 6th, at 7:30pm, and be inspired to take action on a local and/or global scale. Sponsored by PAMA Mentors (Promoting Awareness, Motivation, and Action)
