CMI Sponsors Crowd-sourced Screenwriting
Jas Lonnquist, a professional screenwriter and producer coming from California, will lead us in an adventure in (Christian) crowd-writing. View Lonnquist's profile
Together we will create a story framework for a television/webisode series via crowdsourcing. By participating in this unique and exciting project, you will have the opportunity to:
Work collaboratively to create a story framework for a TV series
Review, discuss, and apply principles of good screenwriting
Consider and discuss methods of including a Christian component
Here’s how it will work:
April 28: On this Sunday evening, we will post a story premise on the Christ in Media Institute Facebook page.
April 29: At 7 p.m. central time, we will gather in the BLC Studio, Honsey Hall, to begin crowd-writing the story series.
Join us in one of these ways:
A. In person: come to the BLC Studio, Honsey Hall, on the Bethany Lutheran College campus, Mankato, Minnesota.
B. On-line: Join the session live-streamed on the Bethany website. During the session, send in your ideas (we’ll explain how).
C. Continuing the discussion: View the session during the following days on vimeo, and join in the online discussion, as the crowd-writing continues.
Who knows where it goes?
Help us plan for you
If you wish to participate, please email Tom Kuster with how you will be joining us (A, B, or C above). We will then send you the Sunday night premise by email.
This project is sponsored by the Christ in Media Institute at Bethany Lutheran College.
