
Head Coach Sue ForreyForrey enters her first season as head volleyball coach with numerous years of experience leading a team. She holds certification from the USA Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP), as well as her American Sport Education Program (ASEP) Coaching Certificate. From 2002-08 Forrey served as head coach and director of the Eagles Junior Olympic program in Mankato, Minn., where she built the organization from one team to five in her six-year tenure. Before joining Bethany as an assistant last season, Forrey coached three seasons of high school volleyball from 2006-08 at Mankato Loyola Catholic School. She is also a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Forrey's time away from the court is spent in the office of the family business, Forrey Septic Systems and Excavating. Forrey resides in Mankato, with her husband, Pete, and their daughter, Paige, and son, Patrick. Assistant Coach Lea KnofczynskiKnofczynski begins her first season as part of the Bethany volleyball coaching staff. The Delano, Minnesota, native, has coaching experience as a coach at summer volleyball camps at Delano High School. Knofczynski keeps up with the game as a member of the women's and co-ed volleyball leagues in Mankato and St. Peter. Knofczynski graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU), in 2008 with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently enrolled in a Master's program at MSU for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Clinical Exercise Physiology.
