Bethany Lutheran College is Home School Friendly
Home school students excel at Bethany because our educational environment matches their academic, social, and spiritual needs.
- Bethany features a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
- Professors committed to the Christian education of our students.
- A Christian perspective permeates everything we do at Bethany - the chapel, classroom, residence halls, and extra-curricular areas.
- A classical liberal arts curriculum with an expanding list of majors. Visit our Academics page for more information on programs.
- State-of-the-art facilities, all of which have been built or renovated in the past 15 years. Visit our Virtual Tour for a look.
Admissions Bethany uses the same process for admissions and scholarship procedures with home school students as it does for students attending public or private high school.
- A completed application (apply online) - indicate "home school" when asked for high school attended.
- Standardized test score: ACT or SAT I; Bethany does not require the essay
portion of the ACT, but does recommend it. Bethany's ACT code is 2086; the SAT code is 6035.
- One of the following:
- a transcript, listing the course name and grade received
- a portfolio, including a list of classes and reading materials
- a letter of academic appraisal, providing evidence of academic ability
If you have any questions of Bethany as a home school student, please contact
