A Great Place to Meet People
With over 75% of our students living on campus, meeting people and making new friends is especially easy. By living on campus, you'll have opportunities to interact with people, get involved with campus life, and gain valuable independent-living skills (without having to shop for your own groceries!).
You're Close to Everything
Our campus residence halls are very close to all of our classroom buildings.
They are so close that if you have a class across campus, it will take you about
three minutes to get there from your room. The proximity of our campus buildings helps to create a safe and secure environment for our students.
Resident Staff
Each residence hall is staffed by upperclassmen who serve as resident assistants
(RAs). RAs, along with the resident managers and the Dean of Student Services,
can assist you with all aspects of residential life.
Residence Halls
Five different residence halls house the students throughout the academic year:
Anderson Hall
,
Edgewood Place
,
Gullixson Hall
,
Larson Hall
, and
Teigen Hall
. Each facility is prepared and staffed to handle residential life issues while
providing spacious, well-equipped rooms, laundry facilities, kitchen access,
lounges and study areas for individual or group work.

Residence Halls Rules and Procedures
The residence halls at Bethany are a home away from home for students and as such are open for all breaks with the exception of Christmas and Spring Break. Typically Food Service in the dining center is not available when residence halls are closed.
Bethany Lutheran College's Residence Halls are operated under an alcohol-and
tobacco-free policy. Students may smoke outside in designated areas only. There
is no chewing of tobacco on campus.
Moving In and Moving Out
The residence halls officially open the weekend before classes start. Students
must check in with their resident assistant to obtain keys.
The halls officially close for the summer at 5 p.m. on the day of Commencement.
Students must check out with a resident assistant before leaving campus. Those
who fail to do so may lose their housing deposit.
Summer Housing
There is limited summer housing available for students on a first-come first-serve basis. Contact the Dean of Student Services in person for more information or to sign up.
