Entry Requirements

During the freshman and sophomore years, each student seeking an art major at Bethany is expected to complete the core curriculum and begin advanced studio coursework. Entry into the major requires a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 in all core studio courses and a 2.0 GPA in art history courses. Students must also submit a portfolio of work for review by the art faculty at the end of their sophomore year for admission to the major.
