A prospective History major student must complete the following lower-division courses:

• American History through Reconstruction (HI207)
• American History from Reconstruction through the Cold War (HI208)

Three of the following four electives must also be selected:

• The Rise of Ancient World Civilizations (HI114)
• Medieval and Renaissance World Civilizations (HI115)
• Early Modern World Civilizations (HI116)
• The Modern World to the 21st Century (HI117)
