The following pre-major requirements are ordinarily taken along with the other courses required to fulfill general education requirements for the A.A. degree:

• Interpersonal Communication
• Speech team participation

The core business courses include six lower division offerings; achievement of a 2.5 GPA in the six lower division courses and an interview with a committee of business faculty are required for entry into the major:

• Microeconomics
• Intro to Statistics
• Business Communication
