Biology is a very broad field and even if you are sure that you want to study biology, you may still need to decide which area you would like to study. What do you like? Human biology? Animal biology? Molecular biology? Maybe you like a little of each.
Bethany’s biology major is designed to prepare you for whatever area of biology interests you. While some courses are required of all majors, you select the courses that fit your interests and career goals. Every program is unique.
If you are interested in physical therapy, you should take Introduction to Gross Anatomy and learn firsthand how amazing the human body truly is. If you like plants, you should take Botany and get dirty collecting floral data at the Cobb River Waterfowl Production Area.
When you are done and have graduated, you will be ready for graduate school. You will be ready for that career in natural resources. You will be ready for the next challenge. Think Bethany!
