Introduction to Physiological Psychology Examines humans from a biological perspective. The interplay between biology and behavior is examined. Through close examination of how the brain develops from conception through the first five years of life. Students gain knowledge pertaining to the role of the brain in emotion, sleep, learning and memory, sexual behavior, aggression, and psychopathology. Students also scrutinize the role that the pharmaceutical industry plays in the creation and treatment of physiological disorders. Prerequisite: BIOL101 or BIOL151. |
